Where to start…
On the plus side we are lucky to know the USA Vehicle Number, the vehicle Serial Number, the details of the convoy it shipped to England on in 1944 and the British Army Census number – T-289477…
But… unfortunately whilst the War Diaries record a lot of information, it is rare to find records which relate to a specific vehicle… so this was a lucky find and only available because other enthusiasts were kind enough to share their information (thanks Roddy and Joe, greatly appreciated).

Next step was to obtain the War Diary for 264th Special Delivery Squadron for 1945…
